Claire (Clairette) Durand-Gasselin is a French born artist, writer and book designer living in NYC. She did a BA in Contemporary Visual Arts at La Sorbonne University in 2014, and one year as an exchange student at NYU Steinhardt Studio Art. She works as an artist and writer, a French teacher, and the Artistic Director of Mad Gleam Press.

Her practice initiates a creative wandering between visual and literary arts, to create hybrid bodies of work that explore and answer a spiritual emotion, an "oceanic feeling". She makes drawings, prints, books, and installations.
