Pretty Dead, Leaf Boats Racing and Rain in the Garden are bright, imaginative pieces, but the carry dark undertones. All deal with death--the beauty in fading flowers, the repurposing and function of the dead; and, the ultimate demise of life when the elements are overwhelming. Death need not be ugly. 

All are alcohol inks on Yupo paper.
